With a right-side user interface for 1st and 2nd ACs, dual 12G-SDI outputs, higher frame rates in 16-bit REDCODE RAW, 1080p streaming, and phase-detection autofocus (PDAF), the V-RAPTOR is tailored for diverse production styles. Recent updates include Apple Pro-Res and Pro-Res proxy support, 4K 8:1 recording, time-lapse recording, and bug fixes.

Excelling in low-light conditions with the lowest noise floor in the RED lineup, this sensor ensures superior image quality. The compact 98Wh RED Micro-V batteries, measuring less than 3″ wide, provide approximately one hour of power, with efficient charging times on the dual charger.
Assistant-Friendly Interface: The right-side LCD screen interface offers on-camera control to 1st and 2nd ACs or operators positioned at that side, featuring physical buttons to prevent accidental selections. Customizable user pages enhance user experience, displaying only the resolutions and frame rates relevant to your chosen format.
Advanced Connectivity: Dual 12G-SDI ports allow flexible output configurations, supporting mirror feeds, individual feeds with or without overlays, and different looks. The USB Type-C port facilitates up to 1080p video streaming.
DSMC3 Ecosystem: The DSMC3 form brings improvements over its predecessor, featuring a larger fan system with enhanced thermal heat exchange (TEC) for a wide ambient temperature operating range. Please note that DSMC3 cameras are not compatible with DSMC2 accessories.
